NetBackup Backup Administration

Good to Have Skills :

Commvault Backup Administration

Job Requirements :

Key Responsibilities :

1 Configure Veritas NetBackup configuration, implementation, upgrade on various NetBackup versions 75/80

2 Installation/Troubleshooting on NetBackup servers/ NetBackup appliances, Data domain, Quantum Devices, Various tape libraries, VTLs Flex Appliance, MSL 6480 Physical Library

3 Provide configuring AIR replication between NetBackup domains Troubleshoot backup/restore issues related to replication of backup images

4 Perform netBackup

Technical Experience :

5 Configure support VMware Backups independently for Veritas NetBackup

6 Configure support Oracle RAC, MS-SQL, MySQL database backups Hands-on knowledge on NDMP backups for Netapp NAS

7 Experience in Migration of Clients from other backup tools to NetBackup

8 Work with software and hardware vendors for technical issues related to backups/restores

Professional Attributes :

Willing to work in 247 environment Share 24x7 on-call support

Educational Qualification :

Excellent Communication Skills, ITIL Process, Ticketing Management
